Russell Davis is a licensed attorney in California and Connecticut whose practice encompasses all facets of corporate law, with particular emphasis on assisting emerging business enterprises in realizing their growth potential through informed, competent counsel. As an attorney and psychologist, Mr. Davis has successfully combined the art of listening with the art of educating to provide his clients with informed representation, this enables them to strategically maneuver through the currents of business operations. Mr. Davis attended the Choate School in Wallingford, Connecticut, before matriculating from Hampshire College in Amherst, Massachusetts. He received his Masters in Education from Southern Connecticut State University in the field of special education before going on to complete his first doctoral program in psychology at Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts. Later Russell received his law degree from the University of San Diego School of Law with a concentration in Business Planning.
Mr. Davis' extensive business expertise includes the following positions: Director of a private for-profit residential treatment center for emotionally troubled adolescents, executive recruiter for the healthcare industry, business strategist/consultant for Fortune 500 healthcare companies, managing partner in real estate developments, and as an in-house legal associate for Scrippshealth.
Mr. Davis is admitted to practice before the courts of California and Connecticut, the United States District Court of Southern California, and he is a member of the California Bar Association and the San Diego County Bar Association. Mr. Davis was a founding member of the San Diego Association of Entrepreneurs, and he has served as a consultant and board member of the San Diego Small Business Development Center, as well as a sponsor for CEO roundtables in the San Diego Area.
In addition to his professional activities, Russell is an active "weekend warrior." He enjoys running, skiing, golf, family time with his two daughters, and active participation in community enhancement activities.
Nikki Dell'Ara is a licensed attorney in California whose focus is corporate and taxation law. She is admitted to practice before the California State Courts and the United States District Court of Southern California, and is a member of the California Bar Association. She has also attained a Master of Laws in Taxation degree from the University of San Diego.
Ms. Dell'Ara attained a dual Bachelor of Arts degree from California State University Sacramento with majors in Philosophy and English and a minor in Latin. While at CSUS, Ms. Dell'Ara was active in a variety of scholastic activities including serving as President of the Philosophy Club and as Teacher's Assistant and Tutor in each of her concentration subjects. She also received a Senior Achievement Award and was inducted to several honor societies.
Ms. Dell'Ara received her law degree from University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law with a concentration in taxation. While at McGeorge School of Law she joined McGeorgeMasters (a division of ToastMasters), and was a semi-finalist in the Final Four Appellate Advocacy Competition. She thereafter served as a Teacher's Assistant for the Appellate Advocacy Program at McGeorge School of Law and volunteered to educate and prepare highschool students for the Gordon D. Shaber Moot Court Competition.
Ms. Dell'Ara's legal experience includes internships with the District Attorney of Yolo County and with firms in the fields of employment law, environmental law, and bankruptcy. She has held positions as a writer/editor for an Internet Company involved in the publication of financial information, and for the National Community Mental Healthcare Centers.
To compliment her professional life, Ms. Dell'Ara also continues to pursue her interest in philosophy through attendance of philosophical colloquia and enjoys participating in a wide variety of sports.
